GMO-Free Maui & Hawai`i SEED present the award winning film Islands at risk: genetic engineering in Hawai'i.

Produced for Earthjustice, this 30 minute film features Hawai`i farmers, teachers, community activists, legal and medical experts who share their perspective on the genetic engineering of crops, such as taro, and the patenting of life forms.

Following Islands at Risk, a special bonus! The brand new Na 'Ono O Ka 'Aina - The Delicacies of the Land, a 10 minute video about taro's diversity, featuring taro expert Jerry Konanui of Hawai`i Island.

Admissions is free - light refreshments
