This protest is for all those who are against GMOs and are willing to do something about it. It is time for some action!

The Department of Hawaiian homelands is funding an Agricultural Festival at Ho'olehua at the Lanikeha Community Center, next to the Hoolehua Fire Station.

They have invited Monsanto to participate as a show of unity among farmers.

This acceptance of this chemical company as a "good ole farmer" can not go unanswered. Therefore we are organizing a GMO PROTEST that morning on May 1st, starting at 8:00am. We will be holding signs for about three hours at the entrance of the community center and in front of the fire station. We have made some 20 plus signs thus far, and if you have your own, that would be just great. We don't have many good opportunities to show our displeasure against things that are not pono - this is a good time and place to protest GMOs.

Let us join hands in protest against bad "farmers" who are poisoning our lands and our people!

Spread the word... this is a grass roots movement with no money backers, we will all have to do our part.
