This year is a transition to a fall Seed Exchange.
A mini-Seed Exchange program will be held at the Garden in conjunction with Arbor Day events. Come early for your free tree and the arbor day program, and stay for some seed knowledge and a seed exchange.
11:00 am-12 noon: Seed Conservation. Winter Crops for Seed Savings. Nancy Redfeather will lead the discussion. Everybody is invited to take part.
12 noon to 1:00 pm: Potluck and seed sharing. Please bring your own envelopes for collecting seed and something to sit on (blanket, mat, chair, etc.)
Amy B.H. Greenwell Ethnobotanical Garden is located in Captain Cook on Hawai‘i Island, 12 miles south of Kailua-Kona on Mamalahoa Hwy, just south of mile-marker 110. The Garden is a Bishop Museum native plant arboretum. It is open 8:30-5:00 M-Sat, closed holidays.
