Ground Zero Earth Day Concert and Talk Story

Ground Zero Earth Day Concert and Talk Story is a family event at Lydgate Park on Sunday, April 21st at 3 pm.

The people of Kauai are invited to gather for inspiration and information about the ‘A’ole GMO movement.

The Sacred Earth Choir, Love Tribe Drummers, and Maz and the Mystic Bee will perform at 3 pm, followed by a potluck at 5. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own dishes from home, and compost bins will be provided, to minimize waste.

Speakers from the action groups Ohana O Kauai, GMO-Free Kauai, and Kauai Rising will explain what’s going on and what you can do to help Kauai free itself from pesticide poisoning and chemical corporate control.

The Sacred Earth Choir presents songs of love and respect for the Aina. The dynamic choir director and composer Daniel Nelson also directs Ballet Kauai.
Love Tribe is an African drumming ensemble that formed after 9-11 to play at peace rallies and to pray for peace through music.
This is the first public performance of Maz and the Mystic Bee, a talented organic farming couple who formed a nonprofit, HoneybeeSanctuary.org, to save honeybees and help first-time beekeepers get started.
