• Big Island GMO bill needs testimony

    There will be a hearing of Bill 79, An ordinance amending Chapter 14 of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as Amended), by adding a new article relating to prohibition of genetically modified organisms written by Councilperson Margaret Wille.   9:00 a.m., May 14 in Public Safety & Mass Transit Committee.  Testifiers in support of this bill are needed.  When you testify in person, please identify your council district and councilperson.
